Ladybug House and RMIT University Dental Hygiene students are working together to promote oral health among children on the autism spectrum to enhance oral health awareness and motivation. As part of a pilot program the Dental Hygiene students will provide support and resources for children and parents on August 7 during the School Readiness Social Skills Program. If the pilot program provides positive results both organisations will look to run more in the future. If you want to express your interest in attending future oral health awareness sessions you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. In the mean time, if you need some dental hygiene tips for your child, you can read some recent information from the American Speech and Language Association here.
